Universal Studios LA is the world's largest movie and TV studio located on more than 400 acres on a hill north of Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.

Offering public studio tours since the sixties, Universal Studios is today a full-fledged theme park with numerous rides that mimic the Disney style of entertainment.

Crowded at times, visitors should allocate a full day for a visit to Universal studios, especially if the entire family is involved. The convenient location however makes the theme park experience less stressing than usual.

Adjacent to Universal Studios park entrance is Universal City Walk, a designed entertainment street open to the public with numerous shops, clubs, movie theaters and restaurants.
