Santa Rosa, the largest city in Sonoma County, is located less than an hour from San Francisco and serves as the main commercial hub for the Sonoma Wine Country.

Santa Rosa was the residence of the late Charles Schulz, creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip and the Snoopy character. Snoopy's Gallery, located north of downtown has a huge selection of related memorabilia and is one of the city's most prominent attractions.
